Lisa Dames and Shawn Patch have been performing together as part of the Greensboro band The Radials for six years. They formed the duo High Cotton because they both love old school country music. Initially the plan was to learn a few songs simply to fulfill their need to play and sing classic country hits. However after a few rehearsals, Lisa and Shawn reached out to their contacts to see if there was a market for their brand of music. The acoustic duo performs country music from before country was cool. Paying homage to artists like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Lynn Anderson, Buck Owens, Jerry Reed and many more.
